Stand Up PaddleBoard - Summer Session
A three hour session designed for beginners to learn basic SUP skills. And have fun on the water.

What you will learn:

Equipment considerations from board design/sizing/purchase options, paddle characteristics, immersion gear, safety regulations and essentials

Paddling Skills - finding your stability, proper paddling technique and efficiency, forward stroke, turning strokes, self-rescue and environmental risk assessments

Ocean SUP Tours
Based upon Paddle Canada's SUP Touring 1 curriculum, SUP Ocean Tours will help you transition into coastal environments safely and build confidence and skills in more dynamic paddling locations and conditions. Nova Scotia's coastal waterways are vast and beautiful for exploring by SUP but there are most certainly things to consider and knowledge and skills to gain in order to do it safely.
